Bastille au fil de l’eau

Secrètement, sous la station Bastille, coule le canal St Martin. Afin de révéler ce lien caché, imperceptible au premier regard, la RATP vous propose une déambulation poétique. L’expérience débute dans les couloirs de la station avec un jeu de formes géométriques colorées, évocation onirique des créatures qui peuplent le canal et hommage à l’origami de l’enfance. Elle se prolonge ici par un voyage imaginaire le long du canal St Martin, au cœur de Paris, du bassin de la Villette au port de l’Arsenal.

Afloat at Bastille

Unknown to passengers, a canal flows under the Bastille underground station, Canal St Martin. In order to let out this secret connection, invisible at first glance, the RATP suggests a poetic stroll. The experience begins in the corridors of the station, with a set of colored geometrical forms — a dreamlike evocation of the creatures inhabiting the Canal, as well as a tribute to childhood origami. It goes on with an imaginary voyage along Canal St Martin into the heart of Paris, from Bassin de la Villette to Port de l'Arsenal.
